He was predeceased by: his parents, Katie Weaver Eaves and Archie Tee Eaves; his wife Annie Laura Eaves; his son Stacey Eaves; his sister Amy Lawless; and his grandson-in-law Cody Bowman.
He is survived by: his children, William Scott Eaves (Denise) of DeQuincy, Melanie Streams (Scott) of DeQuincy and Timothy Paul Eaves (Kimberly) of Longville. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church - DeQuincy (201 S Pine St, Dequincy, LA 70633). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Rigmaiden Cemetery.
