She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Johnson and Estella Gillis Johnson (Stella); her husband Melvin Braneff; her son Bobby Ray; and her siblings, Buddy Johnson, Inez Clark and Bobbie Johnson Braneff.
She is survived by: her children, Mel "Moe" Braneff (Jeanne) of Alvin, TX, Leanne Treme (Neil) of Glenmora, LA, Randy Braneff (Rhonda) of Abbeville, LA and Karen Bubrig (Ross) of Friendswood, TX; her sister Jackie Shell; and her close friends, Layton LeBlanc of Oklahoma, John Williams of Mobile, AL, Denise Darby of Visalia, CA and Colleen Pinder of DeQuincy, LA. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
