He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Stanley. He is survived by: his daughters, Darla Brantley (Robert) and Debbie Wiley (Curt); his grandchildren, Leanne, Amanda, Robert Jr., Tabitha, Crissa, Brianna and Dusty; and his sisters, Nora Stanley and Daisy Stanley. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home (1810 W Fourth St, DeQuincy, LA 70633). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Miller Annex Cemetery (702 LA-109, Starks, LA 70661).
