He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Stovall; his parents, Sim Henry Stovall and Vida Lee Rigmaiden Stovall; and his sisters, Donnie Sue Hughes, Simmie Denton and Esther Lou Lucious.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Qualls (David), Cathy McClure and Allen "Butch" Stovall Jr. (Laura); his grandchildren, Josh Qualls, Katie, Callie Istre (Jordan), Molly Morgan (Eric), Michael McClure (April), Antonio Stovall, Amanda Griffin (Bubby) and Dawson Stovall (Amber); his close friend Sally Sterling; and the mother of his children Sonja Harris. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home (1810 W Fourth St, DeQuincy, LA 70633). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Perkins Cemetery.
