He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Shumaker and Willis A. Shumaker. He is survived by: his wife Vonnie; his daughters, Patti (Roy Misita), Janice (Waide Blackwell) and Bobbi (Ariel Cabezon); and his sister Claudia Sanders. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
