He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sitton Sr. and Edna Sitton; and his siblings, Irene Duffany, Charles and John Sitton.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sitton; his children, Seth Sitton and Shena Sitton; his grandchildren, Tristen and Dacee Hensley; his great grandchild Kingston Hensley; his sister Elizabeth Butler; and his nephews, Chad (Amanda) and Shane McMichael (Michelle). He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
In remembrance of JR, the family asks that charitable donations be made to Disabled American Veterans and/or Tunnels to Towers Foundation in lieu of flowers.
