He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Carolyn Scharfenstein Rogers; his parents, Gustave B. Rogers and Clara Rogers; and his sister Juanita Tate (late Donald Tate). He is survived by: his sister Carolyn Hatcher (late Zach Hatcher); and his children, Roger (Maria), Robert, Rebecca (Roc), Richard (Kathy) and Rosemary (Daniel). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
