She was predeceased by: her sons, Page Westbrook and Jason Westbrook; her stepson Ty Thompson; her parents, Eldon Covington and Estelle Ballard Covington; and her siblings, Sherry Covington Bass and Freedy Joe Covington.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Thompson; her daughter DeShea Westbrook-Pinell; her stepchildren, Tiffany Sassanella (Justin) and Jason Phillips (Kristi); her grandchildren, Paige Coxe and Lawson Pinell; her stepgrandchildren, Jordan Jacob Phillips, Lyric Sassanella and Ty Sassanella; her great grandchildren, Kynleigh Peyton Temple and Karson Kye Pinell; and her siblings, Debra Covington Magee (Dennis), L. Gene Erwin (Deloris) and Richard Covington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Seale Funeral Home (1720 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at the Vickers Cemetery.
