With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Wall Jones of Denham Springs, Louisiana, who passed away on November 28, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert E. Jones; her children, Judy Lofton and Jimmy Jones; her granddaughter Joy Lofton; her parents, Ernest Wall and Ida Wall; her sister Edna; her brother-in-law Mozell Ezell; her brother Robert Lee Wall; her siblings-in-law, Emmitt Watson, W. C. Warren, Jr., S. F. Hodges, William, Aylene Jones, Albert, Elnor Jones, Odell Jones, Opal, James Zeigler, Edna, Maybelle Jones, Edward, Joyce Jones and Thurman Jones; her children-in-law, Tammie Jones, Judy Jones, Wayne Lancaster and Jerry Landry; and her grandson Robert Keith Guillory.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara (Jerome Walker), Darlene (A. P. Borne), Donald Jones of Summit, MS and Brenda Lancaster of Kiln, MS; her grandchildren, Beth Walker, TJ Lofton, Angela Ricks, Jerry Walker, April Ricks, Dennye Berry, Kimberly Guillory, Robert Jones, Ben Guillory, Cody Guillory, Jimmy Ray Jones, Jr. and Donna Jones; her siblings, Estelle Warren, Roby Hodges, Ernest (Jan Wall) and Chuck (Dorothy Wall); and her sisters-in-law, Mertis Jones and Kathy Jones. She is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren; 5 great- great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McKneely Funeral Home (501 Ave G, Kentwood, LA 70444). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the McKneely Funeral Home - Kentwood (501 Ave G, Kentwood, LA 70444).
