She was predeceased by: her parents, Valture Guitreau and Nita Guitreau; her husband Vincent Genre; her son James Genre; and her sisters, Albertine Marse, Leola Roussel, Velma Berteau and Rita Guitreau.
She is survived by: her sons, Ferdie and Fernand Genre (Pat); her grandchildren, Brandon Genre (Michelle), Elizabeth Gilbert (Casey) and Mark Genre (Morgan); her son Peter Genre (Elaine); her grandchildren, Gabe Genre (Emily) and Ben Genre (Christy); her great grandchildren, Jensen, Aulden Gilbert, Madelyn, Mason, Thomas, Naomi Joy Genre and Baby Genre; and her caregivers, Marie, Deborah, Maudine, Anna, Nelda, Annette, Melissa and Peggy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
