He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Tesch and Billy Tesch; and his siblings, Mary Harris, Carla Williams and Billy Tesch.

He is survived by: his wife Margie Tesch; his children, B. J. (Meagan "Maggie" Tesch), Ceira (Steven Kilcrease) and R. J. Tesch (Stormy Leonard); and his grandchildren, Halle, Grayson and Gracely Tesch.
