He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Babin and Iona Threeton Babin; and his siblings, Thomas Ray Babin, Herbert W. Babin and Edna Babin Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Sue Babin; his sons, Joseph Babin, Jacob Babin (Hannah) and Justin Babin; his sisters, Joyce Babin Russell (James), Margie Babin Throckmorton (Hardy "Red"), Helen Babin Rushing (Randy), Mary Babin Brunson (Mike) and Melissa "Missy" Babin Weathers (AJ); and his grandchildren, Marlie Mercante, Bobby Beau Babin and Maximo Briggs.
