It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Averette Palmer of Denham Springs, Louisiana, who passed away on September 12, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis Palmer; her parents, Glynn Averette and Vivan "Pat" Nichols; her grandfather Eddy Nichols; and her siblings, Lynn Averette, Marvin Averette and Jeanette Averette Matson.
She is survived by: her children, Traci Furlow-Gonzales (Wade) and Jason Palmer (Julie); her grandchildren, Kade, Ryleigh Palmer, Taylor Harris (Hannah), Nicholas Furlow (Danielle), Jacob Furlow (Emily), Victoria "Alli" Furlow-Cartwright (Austin), Brooke Gonzales-Bumm (Adam), Brittany Gonzales (Taylor) and Bethany Gonzales (Mike); her great grandchildren, Tage, Nora Harris, Sutton Furlow, Scottie Cartwright, Aubrey, Autumn Bumm, Luna and Levi Mire; her siblings, Bonnie Johnson (Dwayne), Betty Montgomery and Davie Averette; and her brother-in-law J. E. Palmer (Lindy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
