With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nina Linda Martin Mincey (Denham Springs, Louisiana), born in Independence, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 14, 2025 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Carroll "Buddy" Mincey; her parents, Nina Lea Martin and Luther Emile Martin, Sr.; her siblings, LeVern Martin Facundus, Francis Martin Gayle and Luther Martin, Jr.; and her daughter Lajuanna Mincey.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Mincey, Buddy Mincey, Jr. (Michelle) and Ricky Mincey (Payton); her grandchildren, Jordan, Morgan (Eric), Madison (Landon), Megan (Keegan), Darien (Gaven) and Zach; her great grandchild Ryleigh; her brother Kenny Martin; and her sister-in-law Patsy Magee Martin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
