She was predeceased by: her husband Sam L Noto; her siblings, George Stephens, Edna Mae Buras, Margaret Scallan and Mitchell Stephens; her sisters-in-law, Margaret Stephens and JoAnn Stephens; and her parents, George Stephens and Edna Metz Stephens.
She is survived by: her children, Gary A. James Jr. and Katrina James McDowell (Tobias); her stepchildren, Donna Ballard (Jody), Charlotte Schilling (Hilton), Leanne Noto (Daniel), Sammi Forbes (Jared), Larry Noto and Sam Noto II (Pat); her grandchildren, Jordan James (Sydney), Mason McDowell and Owen McDowell; and her sibling Gene Stephens. She is also survived by 25 step grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
