He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Dan and Vivian Howard Woodruff; his stepson Joseph Villamil; his brothers, Ronald and Willie Carl Woodruff; and his half-brother James Woodruff.
He is survived by: his wife Antoinette Nicholas Villamil Woodruff (Niki); his children, Dana W. Haley (Ryan), Dianne Woodruff and Murphy Woodruff, Jr. (Cheryl); his stepson Jason Villamil (Joanne Velardo); his siblings, Dan Woodruff (Nellie), Charley Dan Woodruff (Patricia), Mary Anne Lemoine, Vivian Delrie and Linda Courville; his sister-in-law Regina Woodruff; his friend Linda Aiken; and his caregiver Laterria. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
