She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillis Cook Hunter and Tommy O'Connor Longino; her husband William "Billy" Ray Simon (McCrary); and her sons, Gregory "Greg" Scott Simon and Billy Simon.
She is survived by: her brother Doyle Ray Hunter (Connie); her daughter Angela "Angie" Simon Swanford; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Ann Long, Heather Long Boudreaux (Jake), Rebekah Leann Strickland, Megan Nicole Swanford, William "Will" Michael Simon and Adam Mitchell Simon. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren and many more family members and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Life Church (9036 Florida Blvd, Walker, LA 70785).
