She is survived by: her children, Charles Rene and Ryan DeSalvo; her stepchildren, Alex and Alyssa DeSalvo; her mother Deborah Kennedy; her sister Cheri Breard; her aunt Annie Blouin; her uncle Virgil Smith (Toni); her nephew Tyler Breard; her niece Celine Breard; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Isiah Tanner, Josiah Breard, Dawson Breard, Gabe Breard, Bella Rene Ard, Zora Tanner, Nevaeh Tanner and Ensley Akins; her cousins, Adrienne Smith, Karen Picard, Bobbie Himel, Leah, Jennifer Oglesby and Shannon Reed; and her close friends, Holly Dantzler and Tommy Frierson.

“This is your Aunt Sharon Oglesby Brim in Marshall, N. C. I have been praying for the family. My heart is broken for you. I wanted to send a peace lily so Leah is trying to get me Deborah's address. Last time I saw you all Jennifer was 13 and Lisa was 18. Deborah had remarried and fixed a crawfish boil for all of us. That was the last time I saw you. Bill Oglesby & I divorced in 1980-so lost contact-but did see you in about 1986 when Lisa was 18. I send my love and condolences to you.”
