He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Thelma and Joe Louis Taylor; his brothers, Edward and Hubie Taylor; and his in-laws, Estelle, Walden Norwood, Judie, Barlow Gilbert, Glen Frye and Neva Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Norwood Taylor; his sister Beverly Frye; his daughters, Teresa Kent (Steve), Maria Hinson, Ashley Ledbetter (Randal) and Jamie Taylor; his grandchildren, Greg, Jessica, Nicole, Matthew, Taylor, Daniel and Nathaniel; his nieces and nephews, Jayne Ann (Ron), Robert (Julie), Joe (Lynn), Michael (Jill), Troy (Kirsty) and Tasha (John); and his pet Tucker. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, and a number of great nieces and nephews, cousins, several supportive neighbors.
