He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Eugene and Carol Joy Smith; and his sister Deann Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Michelle T. Smith; his sons, Jerry Vasquez III and Tristan Reese Smith; his daughter-in-law Lorna Agren (Brodie Dawson Smith); his sisters, Deborah Smith Senn and Memorie Smith Menard; his in-laws, Nora and Rudy Ramirez; and his cousin Amy Brasher (Randy) of Alabama. He is also survived by his 3 sisters-in-laws and 5 brother-in-laws, 6 nieces, 4 nephews, 2 grandnieces, 2 grandnephews, and a host of cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (865 Hatchell Ln, Denham Springs, LA 70726). A rosary will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
