With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harvey Carroll Tate of Denham Springs, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 29, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Verna Tate and Elzie Tate; his stepmother Zina Tate; his granddaughter Jana Lynne Crawford; and his sisters, Elaine Jordan and Verna Lee Young.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Strickland Tate; and his children, Carol (Keith Rachal), Cissy (Brian Whittington), Jann (Mike Loyd), Jeremy (Ashley Starns), Denise (Jeff Latil) and John Tate. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Seale Funeral Home (1720 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
