She was predeceased by: her grandson Jon'edwin Joseph Wallace; her parents, Sidney Gourgues and Lucy Gourgues; and her siblings, Gladys Gourgues Guidry and Curtis Gourgues.
She is survived by: her daughter Suzette Engolio Wallace; her grandchildren, Wendy Wallace Miller, Noah, William Sanders and Oliver Miller; and her siblings, Sidney Gourgues Jr., Lester Paul Gourgues and Lucy Gourgues Burgess.
