He was predeceased by: his parents, Amedee Young King Sr. and Lucille King; his brother John Patrick King; his daughter Debbie Craven; and his father-in-law Hubert Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Craven King; his children, Earl King Jr. (Christy King) and Angela Lear (Curtis Lear); his grandchildren, Trey King (Savannah), Jasmine Dendy (Dylan), Hunter King, Heather Holloway, Corey Smith (Haley) and Chase Smith (Jayme); his great grandchildren, Brently Dendy, Brynley Smith and Bailey Smith; and his siblings, Helen Hebert, Ellen Hoas, Ruth Grimmer and Amedee "Jim" King Jr. (Gwen). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Seale Funeral Home (1720 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
