We are sad to announce that on November 9, 2023, at the age of 88, Donald Ray Freeman (Denham Springs, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Lester Bratton Freeman; his stepmother Merle Short Freeman; his brothers, L. B. Freeman Jr. and Ronnie Freeman; and his brother-in-law Ed Lipinsky.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Barnes Freeman; his children, Laveta F. Browning of Frankfort, KY, Randall Freeman of Dallas, TX and Kurt Freeman of Denham Springs, LA; and his siblings, Glenda Freeman Lipinsky of Baton Rouge, LA and Allen Freeman (Marlene Freeman) of New Roads, LA.. He is also survived by four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
