He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Silas; and his brothers, Larry Silas, Casey Stone and Emmy. He is survived by: his sons, Darreld Silas, Jr., Casey Arthur Silas and Bret Silas; and his sisters, Annette and Marsha. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
