He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Layvonne (Carpenter, Sr.); his brothers, Jimmy and Rickey Carpenter; and his grandparents, Joseph, Maebell Jordan, Bud and Agnes Carpenter.
He is survived by: his mother Grace Pierce; his siblings, Jerry Carpenter (Nancy), Brenda Myers (Malcolm) and Kay Smith (Will Fisher); and his cousin Theresa Montz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Seale Funeral Home (1720 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Jimmy Swaggert Share-a-thon.
