She was predeceased by: her parents, Hollis M. Thompson and Dorothy "Dossie" McAllister Thompson; her brother Marvin Thompson; her sister-in-law Nell Thompson; and her nephew Paul Thompson, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband William "Billy" Corkern; her children, Kevin Corkern (Kim) and Shellie Corkern; her grandchildren, Robbin Lott (Cody), Kevin Austin Corkern, Benjamin Corkern (Kaylan), Nicole Bryan (Colby) and Mason Corkern; her great grandchildren, Scarlett Bryan and Owen Lott; her siblings, Roxie Jones (Sandy), Paul Thompson and Teddy Thompson (Claire); and her sister-in-law Mary Thompson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the McKneely Funeral Home (110 E Factory St, Amite City, LA 70422).
