With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brian Houghes of Denham Springs, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 11, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Brian shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Brian farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his mother Sharon Houghes. He is survived by: his father Robert Houghes; his wife Deborah; his sons, Joseph and Grayson; and his sister-in-law Susan Bogard. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and his beloved niece and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (865 Hatchell Ln, Denham Springs, LA 70726). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

“My sincerest condolences to Brian's family. I've known Brian for maybe 25 years now as one of Splash's furniture reps. I always enjoyed visiting Baton Rouge to see and work with Brian. He was always the consummate professional, and I'm happy to say he was my friend for all those years. You will be missed. Rest in peace. Andy Hamilton”
