It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bill Sidney Avara of Denham Springs, Louisiana, born in Summit, Mississippi, who passed away on December 25, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollis Avara and Addie Dunaway Avara; and his siblings, Helen, Yvonne, Grace, Clifford and Herman.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley M. Avara; his children, Wendy Robinson, Shannette Santiago, Walley Avara (Kerri) and Brian Avara (Tassa); his sister Pansy Morgan; and his grandchildren, Nathanael, Stephen, Drew, Brent, Devyn and Malayna. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and one on the way; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Seale Funeral Home (1720 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
