Bessie Bond Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2024, at the age of 87, Bessie Bond of Denham Springs, Louisiana, born in Riverside, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Sidney Hunter Bond; her brother Richard Varnado; and her parents, Manny Rae and Richard Orene Varnado. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Richard Hunter Bond (Dana) and Sidney Rae Bond Poliquin (Joseph); her siblings, Frances Boatner, Rev. Jack Varnado, Sue Matte and Dot Owens; her grandchildren, Kirstie Danielle Pearce (Logan), Kolby Brooke Bond, Hunter Blaise Bond, Jo-Jo Poliquin (Brittany) and Maddux "Maddie" Poliquin; and her great grandchildren, Mia James Pearce and Charlotte Brice Pearce. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Hebron's Building Fund.
