It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Hudson Martin of Denham Springs, Louisiana, who passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Author Clifton Hudson and Evelyn Ruth Hudson (Gunby); her siblings, Patricia Gayle DeBacco and Author Clifton Hudson Jr. "Peanut"; and her son Stephen "Troy" Martin.

She is survived by: her husband Jacob Martin Jr.; her grandchildren, Tory, Ryne and Londyn; her great grandchildren, Harmony, Emalynn, Bexley, Troy and Rochelle; and her pet Luna Belle.

The family asked that in lieu of flowers please donate to The American Diabetes Association (ADA) in her name.
