It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Hood Jr. of Denham Springs, Louisiana, who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Arthur leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Arthur may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hood and Ruby Mae LeJeune Hood; his children, John Lawson Hood and Brenda Ann Hood; and his brother Charles Hood.
He is survived by: his son Russell Allen Hood; and his brothers, William Norwood Hood and James "Bud" Hood (Linda). He is also survived by other relatives, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church (11206 Arnold Rd, Denham Springs, LA 70726). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church Cemetery (11206 Arnold Rd, Denham Springs, LA 70726).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to be used by the family to honor Junior's life and memory.
