She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jones and Elaine Jones; and her siblings, Bill Jones and Sallie Abbott. She is survived by: her husband Robert Boissenin; her daughter Mitzi Newman; her son-in-law Kent Courville; and her grandchildren, Cassidy Newman and Raine Courville. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In keeping with her spirit of generosity, the family requests that charitable contributions be made in Anita's name to any of Anita's favorite organizations; Samaritans Purse, the Greenwell Springs Baptist Church Building Fund, or Friends of Baton Rouge Animals, in lieu of floral tributes.
