He was predeceased by: his parents, George Robert Herring Sr. and Mary Delona Paxton Herring; and his sister Margaret Ann Herring Green. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Joyce Wilson Herring of Delhi, LA; his nieces, Lesia Cumberland and Linda Green; and his nephew Chris Green (Theresa). He is also survived by grand nieces and nephews and a great grandnephew.
