He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edwards and Emma Brown Edwards; his wife Joyce Kimball Edwards; his great grandchild Graham; and his grandson Stan E. Martin.
He is survived by: his son Dr. G. Daniel Edwards, III (Lisha); his grandchildren, Bryan, Brandon, Carolina, Cody, Cassidy and Thomas L. Edwards (Tammy); his children, Erin, Judd, Wade and Karen E. Walters (Harold); his grandchildren, Melanie, Merrick, Roger and Julie; his daughter Judy E. Jacobs (Chris); his grandchildren, Aubrey, Conner and Chandler; and his extended family, Lewis Martin, Anis Kashani, Mary Dorr, Adam Martin, Dorla Parker and John Dupree (Butch).
