It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blanche Calhoun Gary of Delhi, Louisiana, born in Lake Providence, Louisiana, who passed away on March 15, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Gary; her sons, Sonny Holmes and Dickie Holmes; her parents, Mamie Edna Rushing Calhoun and Jack Calhoun; and her siblings, Eddie May Calhoun Murray, Ruby Calhoun Naff and R. C. Calhoun.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Theresa Holmes (Jason), Rhonda Holmes and Stephanie Holmes. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
