She was predeceased by: her husband Nelson Benoit, Sr.; her parents, Edward Walker and Alzina Walker; her daughter Betty Benoit; her brothers, Joseph Walker, Clarence Walker, Whitney Walker and Euel Walker; and her children-in-law, Tim Burney and Bonnie Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Nelson Benoit, Jr. (Charlotte) of Carencro, LA, Michael Benoit of Erath, LA, Jacqueline Burney of Delcambre, LA, Michelle Benoit of Delcambre, LA and Renee Benoit of Delcambre, LA; and her sisters, Mildred Leonard of New Iberia, LA and Laudry Hypolite of New Iberia, LA. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
All guests of the family are asked to adhere to the CDC and local guidelines by wearing face masks and practicing social distancing.
