He was predeceased by: his parents, Randolph Irvin and Doretha Thomas Irvin; his parents-in-law, Herman and Ernestine Boudreaux Jenkins, Sr.; his siblings, Leonard Irvin, Sr. (Julia), Felton Irvin (Wornet), Burnell Irvin (Cynthia), Lloyd Irvin and Dianne Irvin Robinson, Sr. (Edward); and his siblings-in-law, Charles Bringier, Larry Carter and Shirley Herbert Jenkins.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly J. Irvin; his children, Tilicuis "Troy" Irvin, Laiq Irvin (Bridgette), JaMaar Irvin and Krystle Irvin; his sisters, Louann Scott (Norman), Sheila Irvin and Veronica J. Irvin; his siblings-in-law, Della Irvin, Carol Bringier, Deborah Carter, Carla Heath (Larry), Delvakio Maxson (Brian), Herman Jenkins, Jr., Ronald Jenkins (Deloris), Louis Jenkins (Viola) and Erroll Jenkins, Sr. (Carla); and his godchildren, Andre Claiborne and Lakeisha Scott Payton. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hopeful Triumph Baptist Church (38584 LA-22, Darrow, LA 70725). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
