He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Chatman; his siblings, Bernadine Harris, Lois Taylor, Ophelia Chatman, Alfred, Nathaniel, Oliver and Jerry Chatman; his goddaughter Destiny Alsay; and his stepchildren, Danita Wakisha and Donald Glover. He is also survived by four grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
