With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roberta Dantin of Cut Off, Louisiana, born in Galliano, Louisiana, who passed away on February 4, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melodie Charpentier Cheramie and Harding Joseph Cheramie; her siblings, Michael, Shelia, Tina Cheramie and Nell Martin; and her nephew Charles Martin (Mack).
She is survived by: her husband James Dantin Sr.; her children, Stephanie Hunter (Jeff), Jill Williams (Rodney) and James Dantin Jr. (Buddy); her grandchildren, Benjamin Williams (Cheri), Hollie Hunter, Phoenix Maggiore, Bryce Williams, Haley Talbot and Brock Williams; and her great grandchildren, Jezel Eymard and Bennett Williams.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church-Cut Off (15300 W Main St, Cut Off, LA 70345).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be sent to the Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas.
