He was predeceased by: his parents, O. B. Dufrene and Verna Doucet Dufrene; and his sisters, Mary Ann Liner (Vincent) and Arlene Plaisance (Larry). He is survived by: his children, Todd Dufrene (Melody) and Tara D. Ougel (Bart); his former wife Joyce Dantin Dufrene; his siblings, Avery Dufrene (Linda) and Mary Ella Callais (Herman); his grandchildren, Blaire, Brennen, Tori, Tim, Austin, Trent, Blake, Blaine and Brock; and his great grandchildren, Caroline, Barrett, Cooper and Scotlynn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
