He was predeceased by: his son Randy Chiasson; his parents, Harry Chiasson and Odette Benoit Chiasson; and his siblings, Jeffrey Chiasson and Nessie Thibodaux.
He is survived by: his daughter Tina Cheramie (Phillip); his close friend Gloria B. Cheramie; his daughter-in-law Connie Chiasson; the mother of his children Ruth G. Chiasson; his grandchildren, Bryce Cheramie, Brandon Chiasson, Matthew Chiasson and Kaylee McMullen; and his siblings, Junius Chiasson and Helen Doucet. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
