She is survived by: her husband Rodney "Slim" Melancon, Sr.; her children, Danielle Melancon and Rodney "Little Slim" Melancon, Jr.; and her brothers, Kim Plaisance (Rosemary), Peter Plaisance, Russell Plaisance (Tammy) and Brad Plaisance.
