Janice Melancon Grammer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Melancon Grammer (Cut Off, Louisiana), who passed away on March 24, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Bruce Melancon and Eddie J. Melancon; her grandparents, Emile Bruce, Sr., Octavia Guidry Bruce, Beauregard Melancon and Artemise Terrebonne Melancon; her godparents, Emile and Edelie Eymard; her son Kyle J. Grammer; her grandchildren, Baby Grammer and Lori Grammer Lee; her goddaughter Nicole Allemond Hopson; and her parents-in-law, Jack and Esa Leta Grammer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jackie Cheramie (Paul), Angela Mitchell (Ron) and Beth Cheramie (Peter); her daughter-in-law Joycelyn Ledet Grammer; her grandchildren, Lisa Grammer, Scott Grammer, Jay Schexnayder (Dominique), Lexy Schexnayder, Misha Jackson (Chad), Luke Cheramie and Jean Paul Cheramie; her great grandchildren, Rian Grammer, Gabe, Reed Schexnayder and Dominic Jackson; and her sister Rosalind Allemond (Pierre). She is also survived by one niece, one nephew; three great nieces, one great nephew; one great-great nephew; one great-great niece; five step grandchildren, and eight step great grandchildren.
