We are sad to announce that on September 16, 2022, at the age of 63, Janet Cheramie Picou of Cut Off, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Chad Michael Picou; her father Clarence (Cheramie); her brother Gary Cheramie; her nephew Blaine Paul Cheramie; and her grandmother Joyce Callais.
She is survived by: her husband Wilson "Pic" Picou; her mother Rowena Cheramie; her daughters, Amber Picou (Amy), Lacy Picou (Brian Mutschlechner), Ashley Picou, Shawn Gaspard (Cru) and Brittany Curole (Reuban); her grandchildren, Zack Blanchard, Asa Kennedy, Dru Gaspard, Vayda Curole, Adeline Curole and Rhett Curole; her brothers, Rod Cheramie (Kerry), Gerry Cheramie and Norman Callais; her nephews, Brandon Cheramie, Luke Cheramie, Matthew Cheramie and Max Cheramie; her cousin Camille "Potsy" Naquin; her sister-in-law Kerry Cheramie; and her close friend Tammy Authement.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to Bless Your Heart Nonprofit and/ or the Cut Off Youth Center.
