It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest A. Thibodaux Sr. (Cut Off, Louisiana), who passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ackerson Thibodaux and Lucia Landry Thibodaux; his wife Odette Vizier; his siblings, Leslie, Gary, Lloyd, Alvin Thibodaux, Earline Matherne and Doris Thibodaux; and his close friend Hazel Hunter.
He is survived by: his children, Ernest Thibodaux, Jr. (Susan), Suzanne Guidry (Sammy) and David Thibodaux (Dana); his grandchildren, Stefanie, Lindsay, Timothy (Dawn), Tommy Jr., Douglas (Jennifer), Megan (Keith) and Patton; his great grandchildren, Abigail, Gracie, Kacie, Brody, Finnley, Alex, Ackerson, Alijah, Trevin, Trevik, Olivia, Gemma and Alexia; his great great grandchildren, Baylor and Trevik Jr.; his siblings, Melvin Thibodaux and Esther Comardelle; his children, Randy and Terry; and his grandchildren, Lauren, Betsy, Greg, Terry, Jr., Darcus and Dallas.
