He was predeceased by: his wife Nage Gisclair Barrios; his parents, Dewey Sr. Barrios and Leontine Barrios; his daughters, Michelle Barrios and Raquel Barrios; his grandson Carl Poindexter Jr.; and his siblings, Dewey Jr., Carolyn McWilliams and Lorman Barrios.
He is survived by: his children, Loretta Reese (Don), Daniel and Billie F. Barrios; and his sisters, Susan Ledet, Adrianne Martinez and Yvonne DeFelice. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
