It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Elnora Nehls of Cullen, Louisiana, who passed away on November 17, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milo Master and Edith Eddie Kilpatrick Barrington; her former husband Harold Eugene Nehls, Sr.; and her daughter-in-law Tina Nehls. She is survived by: her sons, Gene Nehls of Moss Bluff, LA and Barry Lynn Nehls (Derinda Cheatham Nehls) of Springhill; her grandchildren, Caleb N. Nehls (Yuka), Jeremy A. Nehls, Jeanna Rhodes and DeLane Garison; her great grandchildren, Kaden Ellender, Lliam Nehls, Maddison Nehls, Warin Nehls, Audrie Nehls, Ki Nehls, Leslie Nehls, Powell Nehls, Aiden Nehls, Ryleigh Nehls, Kolby Cooper (Taylor), Ely Hodges, Zoey Hodges and Bailey Simpson; and her siblings, Mitchel Barrington (Kathy), Roger Lee Barrington (Bobby), Janie Hosak (Ervin) and Lorene Wainwright (Curt). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to the Open Door Fellowship Church, Fellowship Farm.
