It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Dewayne Grigsby of Cullen, Louisiana, born in Springhill, Louisiana, who passed away on January 19, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Grigsby, Sr. and Willie Ester Grigsby; his wife Shirley Ann Grigsby; his stepson Anthony Rankin; and his grandmother Minnie Bell Williams.
He is survived by: his aunts and uncles, Henry Williams, Arthur Williams, Lula B. Sykes, Josie Rhone and Patsy Adams; his children, Marnesia Bryant (Ann) of Denver, CO, Martellius Bryant of Denver, CO, Tiffany Harris of Texarkana, AR and Eric Rankin of Texarkana, AR; and his siblings, John W. Grigsby of Dallas, TX, Mary Hawthorne of Texarkana, TX, Janice Hauser of Dallas, TX, David Grigsby (Lynn) of Springhill, LA, Jeffery Grigsby of Springhill, LA, Rosa Grigsby of Paris, TX, Marion Crooks of Vista, CA and LaRhonda Grigsby of Springhill, LA. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many, many friends.
