He was predeceased by: his son Andre Jackson; his parents, Nash Jackson and Angeline Jackson; his siblings, Frank Jackson and Lessie V. Harris; and his daughter Renae Jackson.
He is survived by: his spouse Verdie Mae Ellis; his son Andrew Jackson Jr.; his stepchildren, Joe White and Patricia Sykes; his sister Georgia Scott of Shreveport La; and his grandchildren, Damion Jackson (Allynn) of Andrew Jackson, III, Lendon Jackson, Abriell Jackson, D'Aandre Jackson, Andre Jackson and Purlesha McGruder. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
